Three Weeks Old
I can't believe how fast time has been flying by! Three weeks already! Caleb has been growing more each day. We have his second doctor’s appointment tomorrow and I'm excited to see how much he weighs. Below is a picture of Caleb after his first bath. Our cousins (Erik and Sofie) got Caleb the puppy towel he's wrapped up in. It is SO cute with his name printed on the back! The bath was full of crying, surprise pee spraying and slippery cuteness. =)

Hmmm... What is my secret for getting my baby to sleep? I can't choose just one. Many factors play into this. #1 He sleeps on his tummy. I know the doctors forbid you not to do this but they sleep so much better. Shhh, don't tell on me! #2 Big babies tend to sleep better and have you seen Parker? HE'S HUGE! #3 I'm a second time mom so I'm way more relaxed. #4 I try to lay him down when he's still awake. this helps him to be a self-soother. #5 I follow the "eat-play-sleep" routine. Not "play-eat-sleep." In a month or so I'll start the Ferber Method. It involves crying it out so it's hard, but totally worth it!
A schedule and sleep will come... Promise! I love to read about how much joy Caleb brings you!
